Verity Spencer,
principal at Verity Spencer Interior Design
grew up in the hotel and building industries
and from a young age decided that interior
design was the career path to take.
Verity gained
her BA Hons Degree in interior design from the
American Intercontinental University in London
before starting her own business in
1997.
She is a full
professional member of the British Interior
Design Association (BIDA) and is regional
manager for the members in her area, organising
Continued Professional Development (CPD's)
locally and abroad. She is also an affiliate
member of the RIBA.
In association
with the BIDA, Verity is an advisor at Design
Clinics at Grand Designs Live and Chelsea
harbour Design Centre (House & Garden and
Homes & Gardens magazine days) aswell as
judging "Best Stand" at Design Interiors for
the past three years.
Verity often
writes for magazines such as Antiques and
Midlands Homes & Interiors and has lectured
and produced roomsets at the Antiques for
Everyone exhibitions. She has also designed and
executed the Guest Bedroom for the BIDA
showhouse at House & Garden
Fair.
